Sweet Contradiction

The night and the day

meeting at dawn

an explosion of color and hues

in the otherwise plain canvas..

He is

the bitter, the sweet

mixed in the palate,

a delicacy

the dark and the light

not blind, not blinding

the warmth that envelops

yet the cold that repels

then fusing into a mixture

that comforts and caresses...

He is

the stone in the pond

the pond that ripples

the ripple that causes the waves

the wave that can drown the earth

the earth on which the dust settles.

He is the yin, I,the yang

He, the black; I,the white

the opposites of the pole

bursting in harmonious symphony

creating the perfect imperfect union

that no tide can divide.
