Natalo man ang PCU Dolphins sa NCAA championships, hindi maikakaila na maganda talaga ang Game 3 ng Finalskanina. Sayang lang di pumabor sa Dolphins. Mas maganda sana hehe para makatikim man lang ng konting humility etong San Beda. Tsk. Minsan na lang ako manood ng basketball talo pa. Tsk.

Ang galing talaga ng athleticism ni Jason Castro. Reminds me of Bal
David during the latter's rookie days in the PBA. Parang lamok yun sa bilis. Si Castro parang lamok na may dalang fly swatter dahil sa galing manapik ng bola. You've gotta give props to this guy for single-handedly trying to play fireman to trim San Beda's 20-pt lead at the start of the 4th quarter. Hindi ko na nga pinanood yung 3rd quarter kasi naiinis na ako kay Yousif Aljamal ng San Beda. Pogi sana pero pinapatay kami ni Aljamal sa mga shot niya. Buti na lang natameme sila ng bahagya sa 4th quarter.

I wonder whatever happened to Gabby Espinas today? He just didn't make as much of an impact as I thought he would. But what can he do, right? He can only play his game and the rest will be up to bad luck on San Beda's part. Sinwerte lang ang San Beda dahil kakampi nila ang shot clock pero kung marami pang oras, kahindik-hindik na katahimikan ang mapapala ng mga nakapula sa Araneta Coliseum.

Speaking of which, binili ba ni Manny Pangilinan ang buong Araneta para punuin ng mga nakapula? Or walang pambili ng ticket ang mga pobreng taga PCU? I highly doubt the latter. I think we weren't given enough time and chance to fill our side of the arena. Mas maraming Bedans, mas mayaman ang ABS CBN dahil mas maraming manonood.

Anyways, sa tingin ko, mas mabuti pang matalo ng mga 5 pts kesa sa 1 pt lang ang lamang. Nakakahinayang kasi... There's always a next time, right? I hope next year the rest of the NCAA teams will have found an answer to Sam Ekwe especially since Gabby Espinas will no longer be there.

You know what I really think? This is win is ultimately a thank you note to their scouting team. If only PCU will scout as well next year, then we'll give them another run for their money.
